ANC Commissioner – Chair
_______
Fredrica “Rikki” Kramer
Rikki Kramer’s career in research, evaluation, and teaching has been focused on social welfare and poverty, and the effects of urban policies on social diversity and social equity. She has worked in a variety of institutional settings and research think tanks, and knows both policy and implementation issues at federal and local levels, and research and evaluation methods for complex policies and programs.
She has lived in SW for over 40 years, and been an activist and advocate for the community, serving on the Near SE/SW Community Benefits Coordinating Council (CBCC), on DCHA’s Greenleaf Advisory Committee, on the Wharf Development Advisory Group, and other efforts to represent our shared interest in maintaining diversity during redevelopment, ensuring that the community’s interests and concerns are heard, that promised community benefits in redevelopment are realized, and that the City’s “Build First” commitment keeps our public housing residents in Southwest as Greenleaf is replaced by mixed income housing. She holds a master’s degree in urban planning, and a master’s degree and doctorate in public administration.
